James Salafia is an Ecologist at AECOM based in Miami, Florida. With over 8 years of experience in environmental consulting, his expertise includes environmental impact assessments of wetlands and wildlife as they relate to site due diligence, environmental permitting, and construction development. James enjoys working on project sites throughout the entire state of Florida with three major focuses: environmental reviews/permitting, commercial drone operations, and scientific SCUBA diving. As a Senior UAS Remote Pilot with 7 years of professional flight experience and no crashes to date, James initiated drone use within his company to make site documentation, environmental surveys, and construction inspections faster, safer, and more accurate while decreasing costs.
