Angela Morrison is a Senior Attorney with the global law firm Hunton Andrews Kurth, LLP. Ms. Morrison has practiced environmental law for nearly 35 years, and assists her clients with regulatory, permitting, and compliance matters at the state and federal levels relating to climate change, air quality, water use, wetland impacts and mitigation, endangered species, land use, solid and hazardous waste management and remediation, hazardous release reporting, and mining. Regulated entities that she represents cover various industry sectors, including cement, phosphate, chemical, automobile, boat, pharmaceutical, mining, steel, agriculture, renewable fuels, and energy. Ms. Morrison has been repeatedly named to Super Lawyers and Best Lawyers in America lists, and also recognized by Florida Trend’s Legal Elite. She is a prolific writer and frequent speaker, recently co-authoring the American Bar Association’s Clean Air Act Essentials and the New Source Review chapter in the Environmental Law Institute’s 2022 Treatise. Earlier this year, she co-authored an article titled "Improving Air Quality to Meet Revised Soot Standard Could Harm U.S. Economy" for an industry publication. Last December she co-chaired the American Bar Association's Clean Air Act Conference held in Washington, D.C., and recently taught a condensed course on the Clean Air Act for the Environmental Law Institute. Ms. Morrison is licensed to practice in Washington, D.C., and in Florida, and is certified Florida Bar in State and Federal Government and Administrative Practice.
