I am the Miami office manager with Apex Companies. I have over 30 years of experience in the environmental assessment and remediation industry in Florida and have managed the assessment and remediation of hundreds of sites throughout Florida, ranging from dry cleaning solvent assessment in Jacksonville to assessment of multiple contaminants associated with a former manufactured gas plant in Miami.  Especially recently, many of these projects have been conducted in conjunction with redevelopment, including several former golf course properties in South Florida that are being remediated in accordance with a BSRA.  One of my favorite projects is assisting Habitat for Humanity of Key West and the Lower Keys with cleanup efforts for the Former Baltuff Dump site on Middle Torch Key, which is the only Brownfields site in the Keys.  I'm always interested in a good remediation story, especially ones with challenging contaminants, multiple stakeholders or regulatory challenges.
