Ms. Mathia has more than 17 years' expertise in environmental consulting, having worked for both private and public clients. Ms. Mathia’s background is focused in marine and freshwater biology with experience in both terrestrial and aquatic systems and expertise in field study design and execution, including impact assessments, analysis and reporting. She has extensive experience in water quality monitoring and ecological assessments within Florida and beyond. Her work focuses on water quality but also utilizes her intimate understanding of biological and ecological complexities. She has been responsible for the management, preparation, execution and reporting of a variety of environmental assessment projects in both the terrestrial and aquatic environments. She provides expertise in required permitting and permit compliance studies and monitoring related to National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) and other state and federal programs.Currently, with the Water Resources team in Florida, Ms. Mathia am is actively working on and pursuing projects focused on ecological restoration and water quality improvement. Ms. Mathia supports the ECT Water Resources team in water quality improvement projects. Using the deep expertise of the engineers, modelers, and scientists within the ECT team, ECT is working together to solve many complex water quality challenges and always looking for the next exciting opportunity.
