Pamela has 30+ years in the environmental permitting and mitigation industry. Pamela completed her undergraduate studies at New College of Florida, a top-ranked liberal arts college where she earned a B.A. in Environmental Studies in 1992, and her graduate studies at USF where she earned a M.S. in Environmental Science and Policy with honors. After 17 years in the public sector working for Sarasota County and the Southwest Florida Water Management District, Pamela began private consulting in 2007 and within a span of 8 years permitted 8 large-scale wetland mitigation bank and project sites within Texas and Louisiana. In 2013, Pamela opened the doors to her own private ecological consulting firm, ecoGENESIS, LLC, specializing in large-scale ecological restoration design, conservation, wetland and stream mitigation bank permitting. Her firm has current contracts working on large wetland mitigation banking projects in Texas, Louisiana and Florida in both operating and permitting phases. She is well respected in her industry, serving as the current Treasurer and Board member of the Ecological Restoration Business Association (ERBA, fka National Mitigation Banking Association or NMBA).
