I have an interdisciplinary background in water resources engineering and aquatic ecology.  At the District, I serve as a technical expert and lead a team of scientists and engineers to establish MFLs for priority rivers, springs, lakes, and groundwater systems.

Prior to joining the District, I worked in the private sector as a senior engineer where I designed and managed innovative water resources improvement projects. I also have worked at the Southwest Florida Water Management District conducting MFL and springs assessments and developing springs restoration projects. In 2012, I completed my doctoral research at the University of Florida in the Environmental Engineering Sciences program where I studied the effects of hydrology and water quality on aquatic ecosystems in Florida springs and other riverine systems.
