Victoria K. Colangelo is the Founder and CEO of The Mitigation Banking Group, Inc.

A true Florida Native, born & raised in Boca Raton. She moved to Central Florida in 2001 where she attended the University of Central Florida. Victoria has been in the mitigation banking credit industry since she was 21 years old (2004)! Through her growth and knowledge, she provides extensive information for Wetland & Species Mitigation/Conservation Credit Needs.

Victoria’s vast background in the wetland mitigation and habitat conservation bank industry has designated her as one of Florida’s most sought after mitigation bank experts.

Victoria is passionate about partnering with mitigation bankers, environmental consultants and landowners to aid in the wetland and species mitigation credit process.

Victoria is responsible for developing and implementing strategies and forecasts that support existing relationships with industry partners and promote future growth for the industry.

As part of her ongoing dedication to sustainability, Victoria continues to focus on wetland mitigation banks, habitat conservation banks, governmental regulatory workshops and environmental interest groups.

Colangelo specializes in selling Wetland Mitigation & Species Conservation Credits. However, in 2018, she increased her "niche of a niche" and is now a Licensed Real Estate Associate connecting Landowners of Mitigation Banks with potential investors, selling the land & all remaining mitigation credits.

In 2019, Victoria connected the buyer and seller of two mitigation banks in Florida (Neoverde Mitigation Bank & Crooked River Mitigation Bank) that sold for a combination of $14 million, with mitigation credit value of $45 Million Dollars of assets including 1,600 acres of restored and preserved conservation land.

In 2020, Victoria linked the mitigation banker (Colbert Cameron Mitigation Bank) and the buyer that sold for $5 million with mitigation credit value of $8 Million Dollars of assets including 2,620 acres of restored and conservation land.

Victoria also assists clients with the due-diligence and acquisition process by providing a detailed market analysis of current supply of mitigation credits in the market and historic demand within that specific region.
